The Signal
I get so many emails every day that it's becoming unmanageable. If I reply "no thanks", the sender tries to convince me otherwise. If I don't reply, I get a "just bumping this up" email.
Each email seems like it's (at least somewhat) custom written for me, so the spam filter

The cold email apocalypse has arrived.
AI personalization just nuked the last functional system for business communication.
“Custom written for me” isn’t impressive anymore - it’s the baseline.
Spam filters can’t tell whether it’s you doing amazing cold outreach or your AI agent, because everything now passes the human test.
And “Just bumping this up” has no ceiling when bots never get tired.
At Business Juice we’ve got two thoughts:
1️⃣ Damn. I hate unsolicited emails.
2️⃣ This is amazing - and a massive opportunity to grab the bag.
Most people are racing to set up bots that send “personalized” emails.
But here’s the edge they’re missing: Copywriting always wins.
Want to stand out?
Teach your AI agent how to write better.
⚡️ Quick hack: Download any legendary copywriting book (yes, as a PDF) and feed it into your AI’s training model.
Your agent doesn’t just need to sound human. It needs to sell like Ogilvy
If you want to learn to write better (in 14 days) check out Sam Parrs Copy That course - it’s EPIC.
📧 Time to train better agents, not send better spam.
startup idea for you
"AI agents that finds expired dotcom domains"
every day 50,000 domain names expire. most are garbage lbut hidden in there are gems - domains with real traffic, clean backlinks, brandable names that someone will pay thousands for.
domain investors know

The old arbitrage playbook meets AI execution.
This isn't just another "AI will change everything" thread – it's a proper business model dissection:
50,000 domains expire daily – massive volume hiding genuine value
$100 to $5k+ flips – unit economics already work for manual operators
"Pure torture" – Greg nails why this market exists (high friction = opportunity)
The genius is in the criteria: traffic history, backlink quality, brandability.
When we were chatting with Greg yesterday on X, we mentioned that there’s some BIG fish out there flipping Domains (e.g. Dharmesh Shah became a shareholder in OpenAi by selling them a domain). Help these big fish find more opportunities and you’d build a pretty powerful network. The value of that is uncertain, but it’s sure to unfold.

“It is not happiness that makes us grateful. It’s gratefulness that makes us happy.”

The productivity hack hiding in plain sight.
This isn't just another mindfulness quote – it's operational psychology for builders:
"It is not happiness that makes us grateful" – most founders chase outcomes hoping they'll feel better
"It's gratefulness that makes us happy" – the lever works backwards from what we assume
Practice creates the state, not the other way around
The best builders I know aren't naturally optimistic – they're systematically grateful.
They've figured out that appreciation is a skill that compounds.
🧠 Gratitude isn't fluffy – it's performance software.

Hard Business

Higher-barrier. Higher-upside. Tougher problems, massive payoffs for founders who want to play on Expert Mode.
So guys, it’s Tuesday and today we’re doing a deep dive on a Hard Business.
This kind of approach isn’t a great starter business.
But when we’re working out our freedom muscles, it’s good to push ourselves and do some heavier sets and reps.
Today, we’re doing a deep dive into Scout AI so that we can spot what does and doesn’t tickle our pickle when it comes to choosing our lunchtime start up idea.

🧠 The Big Idea
The AGI brain for defence robotics: A plug-and-play foundation AI model that transforms any military robot into an intelligent, autonomous teammate controllable via natural language.
👥 Customers & Problem
Who: U.S. Department of Defence, defence contractors (Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon), military robotics manufacturers
Problem: Current defence robots are basically expensive paperweights. Each platform needs custom software, specialized training, and constant human babysitting. They can't coordinate, don't understand natural language, and fail completely without GPS. The military needs "one-to-many" force multiplication, not "one-to-one" human-robot pairing.
Scout's universal "brain" solves the robotic mass problem – making any robot intelligent and autonomous, even in communications-denied environments.
💰 Potential Revenue
Pilot phase: $1-5M contracts for proof-of-concept work
Production scale: $10-50M multi-year deals across military branches
Mature business: $200M-500M+ annually (similar to established defence software infrastructure)
Reality check: Scout already raised $15M seed and secured multiple DoD contracts, proving early validation. Defence AI companies that nail procurement can scale to hundreds of millions.

🛠 Bootstrap Game Plan (Spoiler: It's Brutal)
1. Start Dual-Use Commercial
Build your AI "brain" for civilian robotics first (security, logistics, search-and-rescue). Prove the tech works with simpler regulatory requirements and generate early revenue.
2. Chase Non-Dilutive Government Funding
Target SBIR/STTR grants and Defence Innovation Unit challenges. These provide $150K-$3M in non-dilutive R&D funding specifically for defence tech development.
3. Partner with Defence Primes
Don't compete with Boeing – become their AI vendor. Offer pilot integrations at cost in exchange for co-development opportunities and military stakeholder introductions.
4. Build Hardware-Agnostic from Day One
Design your AI to work with existing military hardware using commercial components. Integration costs kill deals, and militaries want to upgrade brains, not replace entire fleets.
5. Network Like Your Business Depends On It (Because It Does)
Attend defence trade shows, join accelerators like AFWERX, build relationships with program managers. Defence is a relationship business – one trusted introduction beats 1000 cold emails.
The Reality:
Even with this playbook, most defence AI start-ups need $10-50M+ in VC funding due to security compliance costs, brutal procurement cycles, and technical complexity.
This isn't a "quit your job and bootstrap" business – it's PhD-level entrepreneurship with generational upside if you survive.
Scout AI proves that the hardest businesses often have the biggest moats. Sometimes playing on expert mode is the only way to build something truly defensible.
Today's free version will give you the basics. The Club300 version gives you the DEEPER DIVE. Ready to see what expert mode actually looks like?

👋 Until Next Squeeze…
Alright Juicers, that’s your shot for today.
But remember - this isn’t a newsletter. It’s a weapon.
A blueprint. A backroom pass to the wild world of AI-first start-ups.
We’re not here for theory. We’re here for reps. For wins. For freedom muscles so strong your boss asks how much you bench.
So go train your AI agent. Steal an idea. Hell, launch something in your lunch break.
And if you’re still reading… you’re exactly the type who belongs in Club300. Don’t just watch us build - get on the factory floor.
Let’s keep making noise. Let’s keep grabbing the bag.
✌️ Until next time,
Mr. Juice
